Deepstr Posts: 29 Rating: (0)	Hi, We have equipped with SIMODRIVE E/R module INT 16/21 Kw. Part No 6SN1145-1BA01-0BA1. Its Device not ready "GREEN" LED lits ON. I checked & found 64, 48 enable signals are OK. 63 is wired up in series with internal line contactor i.e. terminal 111 & 113. Checked DC o/p bus voltage i.e. P600 & M 600 foumd OK i. e. 602 V. What may be the problem. Does the internal relay has failed? If so what may have caused the failure of relay? Also can anyone explain the difference between I/R, E/R, UI line infeed modules. RAM81 Silver Member Joined: 3/3/2008 Last visit: 10/5/2023 Posts: 333 Rating: (51)	hi can you isolate the I/R module and check the status , may be you could have connected to some other L.T modules which is causing the problem. after isolating check what is the status of led and the drive reay relay as per the S1 dip switch settings. I/R & E/R are same first in english and latter in german --- infeed/regenerative UE & UI are same first in english and latter in german---- uncontrolled infeed Einspeisung : infeed regenerativ : regenerative as the name implies I/R- gives constant dc link and it can regenerate U/E- dc is RMS of incoming supply and no regeneration regards Ram Attachment drive ready.pdf (766 Downloads)

I checked ON line status & found that servo drive enble signal is not present i.e. 63 & 63 even after shorting external signal.In short my question is does infeed module, NC, & Axis drives carry out communication on equipment bus. How to differentiate the device not ready problem i.e. is it because of faulty Infeed module or because of NC is not allowing it to enable. Because when u disconnect equipment bus i.e. 351 flat ribben cable, NC & Drive system gets disconnected. Regards, Deep.

RAM81 Silver Member Joined: 3/3/2008 Last visit: 10/5/2023 Posts: 333 Rating: (51)	hi deep, the equipmnet bus carries the electronic volatge and some other signals also, when you remove the equipment bus and remove the dc link bus bar which starts from I/R module whether the led 4 i.e amber in colour glows after giving the enables namely 48+112+9, 63+9,64+9. if it glows then your module is ok and you have to connect the other modules one by one and check which is causing the issue. also check NS1 &NS2 is connected. if I/R does not work after giving the enables then it is faulty with regards Ram

Deepstr Posts: 29 Rating: (0)	Hi Ram, Yes as u have suggested I have checked the infeed module in same manner. When it is independently checked both YELLOW (UMBER)& GREEN LED lits ON. They remain continueously ON even if we disconnect the enable signals of module. To the surprise DC bus voltage P600 & M 600 found OK 585 V DC.What it should be that in absense of enable signal GREEN LED should LIT ON & when enble signals i.e. +63, +63 & +48 r present YELLOW(UMBER) LED should lit ON & GREEN should go OFF. But bothe r remaining ON.Hope it must be cleared. Does there any detailed function manual about INFEED MODULE. not configuration or quick start. I want operation/function of infeed module.
