Hi,

I downloaded and installed the (openness) add-in for import and export to TIA v18. From

Add-In and description for TIA Portal V18 (1,0 MB)(SHA-256)

The add-in was saved as:
C:\Program Files\Siemens\Automation\Portal V18\AddIns\Siemens.ExportImportV18.addin

It was activated in the Add-ins tab in TIA Portal.

When trying to export a screen (left click>Export / Import) the following error occurs:

The type 'Siemens.Simatic.Hmi.DL.ModernUI.ILScreenData' is not available with openness for the Engineering version V18.

Openness was installed with TIA_Portal_STEP7_Prof_Safety_WINCC_Adv_Unified_V18 and SIMATIC_WinCC_UnifiedRT_V180_SR1_Upd1 was installed.

Any ideas what could be wrong?

Do you know what the problem was? I've the same problem with my own add-in. The problem only occurs when there is a Unified visualisation in the TIA project. I use TIA V19 update 2.

This Add-in does not support WinCC Unified devices, as the required APIs are not available.

In this example some possible Features has been implemeneted but a complete and Import is not possible.

I'm not trying to do an export and import from a WinCC Unified device, but an S7-1500 CPU. The problem only occurs when the project also has a WinCC Unified device in it. As soon as I remove that device, I can import and export blocks from the CPU.

The problem is also when I test with the OpennessScripter.

Meanwhile, I've an SR at Siemens HQ. When I know more I'll post an update.


UPDATE:

Siemens informed me that it is a bug in V19. The problem will be fixed in September with V19 update 3.
