Very good FredrikS7.  It worked fine here.  I have now LSC v8.4 running on my macOS 14 (Sonoma).  You made my day.  I tried the same trick on my macOS 11, and it worked too.  By the way, this is the same macOS on which I was working on with Siemens support to get the upgrade installed.  I will tell them the good news.

For those that have not followed from the beginning, I have made an instruction sheet that explains the steps to do to be able to install the upgrade to LSC v8.4 on macOS 14.  It works also on mac OS 13, but with a little difference (see PDF).

 Thanks a million! The manual you created with the help of FredrikS7 worked for me! And that is so great! Don't you know is it possible to open lsc files fron iCloud folder? Here is a problem that LOGO! doesn't show the iCloud folder in the folder tree. So I should to copy lsc and UDF files to folders which is available for LOGO!

Split from Soft Comfort 8.4 upgrade of macOS.

1. Open Terminal on your Mac.

2. Run the following command to create a symbolic link to your iCloud Drive in your home directory:

ln -s ~/Library/Mobile\ Documents/com~apple~CloudDocs ~/iCloudDrive

3. Now, a folder namediCloudDriveshould appear in your home directory. You should be able to access this through the file browser in LOGO! Soft Comfort.

After trying these steps, you should be able to navigate to your iCloud Drive folder from within the LOGO! Soft Comfort application.
