I figured it out. First you have to download the correct version you want and install it from: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/nl/nl/view/109825750/en Then it installs it under the V17 directory whereas TIA V19 is looking at the V19 directory. Copy all the folders from the V17 to the V19 directory. I didn't copy the xml's. From: C:\Program Files\Siemens\Automation\Portal V17\Data\Hmi\Transfer\17.0 To: C:\Program Files\Siemens\Automation\Portal V19\Data\Hmi\Transfer\17.0 |

Hello to all members. It simply can not install package. I tried on Windows 10 pro and Windows 11 pro, Version 23H2. Even after successfully going through steps given by Siemens: Readme_DesktopAppInstaller_4_Windows_10_LTSC.pdf Again the reason is: App Installer failed to install package dependencies. Our company updated Tia portal from version 15.1 to version 19. and now we can not work with new Comfort panels because we are missing panel images. If anybody have some solution with manual update image files without "HMI_PIU_Installer_1.0.0.0" I would appreciate it very much. For now we are stuck |

Hello AutoGen_1379315 you can do the steps of the PIU Installer also manually. Check in the Link: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/109825750 Chapter 1.2 there is an explaination how you have to work with the Images and where you have to copy them. the PIU Updater also just copies some files in some specific folders. you can do this with any image files and also in any TIA Portal Versions. Also in V19 -> but comfort Panels unsl have V17 as newest Image Version, so also in V19 you will use the V17 Images Bye Murof |
