PC670 not boot

David68 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hello! I have a problem with a PC670. Does not boot after connecting tension. The fans are working, but the screen is black. I hear 1 beep, 3 beeps, 3beep, 1 beep and then silence. You show me the possible problem. Best Regards.

Hello David.
What you are hearing is the P.O.S.T. signals decribing hardware problems that block the PC from booting. P.O.S.T. = Power-On Self Test.
The length of the beeps is also importnat, long or short, in various combinations. And the P.O.S.T. signa;ls vary depending on the manufacturer of the PC, the OSand the BIOS.
Have a look at this link, it has agoodlist of various P.O.S.T. beeps, their origin and meanings:

For example., if your BIOSis from PHOENIX BIOS Q3.07 OR 4.X , then your 1-3-3-1 beep signal would refer to DRAM trouble, possibly unseated memory bars in the PC mainboard.

Does it appear again, then change RAM Module (if you have a second one). Retry. If it works, place PCI cards one by one and check which one might cause the problem. Maybeone of them is just not put in correctly.
