TrendView - help with configurating

I want to have ONE point every day with the time. The trend will be running over several years. I believe this can be achieved but I don't really know how. I think I have to use "historical data", but I can't find out how to configure this. if it's possible I want to have the LOG accessible to download to USB. I think that the option with "historical data" will provide this also, correct? The problem is that I want ONE point every day with my value, that's my main issue. Thanks

It is how I will make it do it one time a day only. To start with the cycles only go to 18h max. Then I thought I could make it with the schedule task but also here is 18h max. Then I was thinking of make the PLC tell the HMI when to log "with logtag" but then came the other problem. Say I leave a timer running when the motor runs every day, then I must reset the timer at each day change but before this I must write it to the log. However if the control cabinet is powered OFF at this time, how will I make sure that the timer is correct? I suppose that I can reset the timer at the CPU start up , but if the CPU is just turned OFF and ON a brief period of time, I don't want the timer to reset. Ok, so with the Schedule task you can use the "Daily" schedule but same problem here, if the HMI is powered off during the scheduled time, how do I manage the reset function of my PLC timer?
