Im trying to upgrade a Simatic HMI IPC477C by use of simatic image & partition creator v3.1 I have a panel with 4GB flash, and i have transferd the imagefile to a boot USB stick from kingston on 8gb. I reboot the panel and the partition software starts up. On the stick i have three files, that i found when i extracted the ziped image i got from siemens. 4x7_WinCC_V70SP3.PBF on 8kB 4x7_WinCC_V70SP3_0000p.000 on 2,2GB 4x7_WinCC_V70SP3_0000p on 30 kB When i start the simatic image & partition creator v3.1 i follow theese steps. - create with the Image&PartitionCreator CD a bootable USB-Stick with Image&PartitionCreator - copy the image to the USB-Stick - boot the IPC with the USB-Stick - start Image&PartitionCreator - select restore - select the folder of the image at the USB-Stick - select the restored memory - start restoring The only file i can see in the software is the *.PBF fil, But the restoring only takes 23s that is a littel bit to short for 2,2GB from a USB stick, so ive saw this on siemens support but it gave the same result. https://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/adsearch/resultset.aspx?region=WW&lang=en&netmode=internet&ui=NDAwMDAxNwAA&term=image+%26+partition+creator&ID=48556600&ehbid=48556600 The problem is the same as the support input but i cant seem to solve it, do anybody know anything else i can try?
