simodrive 611 communication problems

daniel2007 Posts: 14 Rating: (0)	I have a communication problem with simodrive 611 digital. I tried with SimoComU and Rs232. With simodrive 611 universal works fine.Is there a diffrence between them? Thanks

Dave Posts: 271 Rating: (29)	Hello Daniel2007, SimoCom U is designed to work with Simodrive 611U and POSMO CA/CD/SI products only. Simodrive 611D drives are designed for use with Sinumerik 840C, 840D and 810D CNC products only; therefore, the communication to the 611D is via SinuCom NC or via the HMI for the CNC. Hope this helps...
