Hi all, I have a question about programming a new masterdrive MC.

I have a 6SE7021-0EP50-Z  Z= F01+C42+C43+G91.

I have the parameters list of the same drive installed on a machine by the customer. I have to send it to them as spare part. 

I made the factory reset parameters. Now the state of the drive is 5. I think is correct, as is written in the manual.

I tried to connect to the drive via USS, serial cable is ok, but unsuccessfull. I open drivemonitor separate from step 7. I'm using a old field pg working, I tried with CP 5611 also but without good results.

I seen that on the communication card blink, every 2 seconds, yellow and red led only. Green one is switched off.

I power up with just the external 24V; the drive is switched off for more than 1 year.

You can connect to the drive with PC and DriveMonitor and special cable you can make by your own. You need port X103 on you drive to connect this cable

Thanks for the answer, i tried already with the serial cable and the drive monitor, not from step 7. After the scan search the drive is not recognised. 

The drive is in the state "5", first parametrization.

Is ok? Have to change some parameters to enable che serial communication? 

Green led on the CB is switched off and red and yellow led blink at 0,5 Hz.

Please chaeck Baudrate settings in P701. 

6 correponds to 9600 baud. (factory set) Also check this is in the online settings from DriveMonitor. When you change settings here, be aware to reboot DriveMonitor before you can getting online

The green LED is for signaling when ProfiBus communiaction (with PLC) is established. Do not connect your (pre-pared) serial cable here

For factory set tour drive:

p53-->6

p60-->2

p970-->0

Ok, done, It works.  I downloaded the complete parameters from the file of the existing project, .dnl.

Now is ok for change with the same old drive or i have to check other parameters before ship to the customer?

Another question. The drive has inside the technology package F01; I read that there is a pin code to fully unlock this package otherwise is limited to 500 h. Where is possible to check if this pin is stored in a parameter when I downloaded the parameters file? Is there a parameter where there is a hours counter.

How can I check this.
