[SOLVED]IOT2020 Internet Connection Issue - Ping Bad Address

It's connected to a router, many rPi are connected to this router, and my engineering computer as well, they all can connect to internet without any problem. I can ping from the IOT2020 all the devices connected to the router, the router included. Here is the content of my interfaces file: # /etc/network/interfaces -- configuration file for ifup(8), ifdown(8) # The loopback interface auto lo iface lo inet loopback # Wired interfaces auto eth0 iface eth0 inet static address 192.168.1.2 netmask 255.255.255.0 gateway 192.168.1.1 It was the same thing with DHCP, and without the gateway, with node-red auto start activated or not. You have to set the gateway, which you have already done. The other thing is to add the DNS nameserver, because this is not automatically done when the interface is set to static IP. Then you have to make this file immutable because otherwise it will be overwritten with every boot. How do that is described here. I am wondering why it is not working with DHCP.. But try it with the DNS "fix" ;-) Best regards!
