WinCCflex 2005 user/pword list

superdave68 Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	i have discovered a problem that i am not sure is a software bug or a keyboard to the floor interface problem (programer humor [:D] ) i am running WinCC flex 2005 and whenever i download the project to the panel, it corrupts the user / password list on the device. unless of course you choose the option "overwrite password list on device" which means the user/pword list would have to be updated everytime the project is downloaded. second question not really related to this problem. we have heard there is going to be a new release of winCC flex (late Jan '06 ?) that is supposed to have native suport for communicating with modicon's modbus TCP/IP via the ethernet port. any updates on when this release will be available ?

But what you can try is to make an OS-Update on your Panel, transfer the project once with password list and then without password list. You can see it in the systemmessages if the listis imported correctly. I think theupdate of WinCC flex 2005 will come in April 2006.
