Problem in S7-400R System with IM-153-2

Pani Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Hi, We are having 2 CPU 412-2 used in the redundant mode. However we are not using the Active bus module in the project. We have two IM 153-2 (6ES7 153 2BA01 0XB0) in one rack. It has one 32 Ch.DI/32 Ch.DO module in the same rack. We are using Step7 V 5.3 where the above said module is not listed in the HW catalog. So we have downloaded the GSD file (IM153-2_HF_DPV1_H). But while doing the HW configuration and while copying and inserting theIM-153-2 in the 2nd station we don't get the option "Insert Redundant" at all. (it is disabled) I don't know what is the problem. Is this module capable of serving redundancy? Alternatively we used a simple copy and paste and complted the HW configuration. We are surprised to see that always the IM153-2 in the second position communicates and the first IM153-2 never communicates with the CPU. We get both BF1 abd BF2 Leds on the module. Can someone help us with this problem. Please feel free to ask more details if you want. Regards Panindra K
