I have the same problem with an backup that I want to download offline

Split from CFC D7-SYS.

I need to load a backup into a memory card,

I have the omnidrive and memory card.

when I try to download, it will say that I need to compile first.

then I try to compile it will say that i'm missing a library file. 

so I cannot load the backup into the memory card.

Program is created with D7-sys V6.0

I have V8.1.. i'm getting a laptop with V6.0  to try later tonight. but I think it will have the same effect.

any suggestions ?

I cannot do an online load, since I'm not at the machine.

Further I got the missing Library file  a KMZ file. I tried to place it inside the CFClibs directory. but this had no effect. (maybe because of wrong version of the library file  ?

that was very quick, 

it is not a standard library, but from supplier, and as I mentioned in the Edit.

I got the file from supplier. in  xxx.KMZ  but they also not sure if this is the correct file.

when I placed this file inside the folder you mentioned. it still has the same effect

see the compilation message,

The file KAM001.msk I placed in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Siemens\Step7\s7cfc\sdblocks

and in CFC-menu 'Options-Customize-Compile\Download' the following option: 'System data from installation" is selected.

It generate no further log, because I must say no,cancel… so the log will say aborted by user.

Now I have been told (not by siemens) that if the program was made with Version xx of D7-sys, then you must use this version otherwise you cannot load the program. can anybody confirm this ?

I used an old laptop with D7-sys V6.0

When compile I got some more helpful information,

1. I see clearly what versions are wrong.

2. The KAM001.msk file, I got from the supplier was also the wrong version.

So with the old D7-sys V6.0 it was better to understand,

My problem is not solved, but I now know what the problem is,  and I'm in contact with the supplier to get the correct *.msk file.
