I am trying to load a some custome definitions to my sinumerik 802D sl

i have to add:

DEF NCK REAL RENP[70]

DEF NCK REAL RENT[50]

When i try and modify the global user data folder and then reload it to my machine i get the alarm:12500 is there a way around,

and how can i add an extra gud file, or how can i preview the sgud file? at these moment i can only see what is in the following printscreen.

i have added the password for protection lvl1 so i am in expert mode.

if i copy the global user data it turnes in to a .ini and there is no deffinitions there. where are all the other gud i know on 840 you can view them once you are in expert mode, and open and edit them on the controll

Ive done a complete machine backup and manegd to find the SGUD definitions:

 But this is in the backup folder, now i am thinking could it be possible to add my definitions in here? this looks like a binary file format, i can reckognize the INT  _TM parameter wich is used in tool change.

Any coments or any thoughts from the experts would be welcome?

Right i tried editing the NC data backup.arc with like a sample definition

 N10 DEF CHAN APR 13 APW 13 REAL _ZSFR[40]

N11 DEF REAL CNCZIG[10]

 but when i re lode the backup back in the controller, it gives me a checksum alarm, obviously all the variables defined in SGUD, are like "Maped" to a specific part of memory for instance like this one:

_ZSFR[0]=0 '1d3a i think that these means that it is stored in 1d3a adders in memory, do i need to do that for every variable i define?

something like this

you get the picture, if i do how do you know witch parts of the memory i can store them and where no to?

Gosh i do hope someone is going to give us some advice on the problem

All you need to do is go to Services > manage data > their should be a directory called Definition. This dir contains all user variables. Now select the UGUD and press enter to open it in editor. Add your variables and  close editor. It will ask you to activate current data. Press yes. let me know if this works for you.

Could you solve your issue finally?

If yes could you please share what was the solution for you?
