Hi, the downloadable lists at the link above only gives combability between software. When we plan a PCS7 upgrade from v6.1 -> v9.1 we also need to take in consideration which hardware should be upgraded. Were can we find this info? I doubt that old ET200M and ET200S are all compatible with PCS7 v91 module drivers. And what if we were to swap old CPU414, 416 ->410, does that mean other HW needs upgrading aswell? Edit: I think I found this info https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109812604 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hi Skata, you are right, you can find in the Compatibility-Tool only the information which software is compatibility to each other. The information which hardware is supported from PCS 7 can you find in the manual Released modules for each PCS 7 Version. With or without the change of the AS you will lose the compatibility to every IO module if you upgrade the PCS 7 Version. It is possible to use the IO module like ET200S (get the information) but the functionality "Generate module driver" will not work. Every other devices in the HW-Config. doesn't need to swap.
