I have this problem with Sinumerik ONE HMI where the displayed info only says "2000041 <no text available>". I know it's related to a connected G120 drive because the message disappears when the power to G120 is turned on. The Sinumerik ONE NCU 1760 and G120 drives are connected by Profinet.

Is there any way to edit these message so that the maintenance is able to actually read what the problem is from the alarm display?

Have you exported the system based alarm texts from within the TIA project and added the generated file to your operate install? Please see Page 70 of the below manual:

If you have already configured alarms text ensure you import them into the TIA project before carrying this out (details listed in the manual).
