Use TIA Portal Updater and make sure the latest updates are installed.

You _may_ need to contact Siemens Support to download V15 updates.

I'm an industrial automation student working with TIA Portal V15 to practice ladder diagram programming, but I've run into some issues with simulation.

At my school, we use V15, and recently, I’ve encountered a problem when trying to simulate my programs. Specifically, when I activate the input contact, nothing happens—it doesn't trigger the expected action.

I’ve tried reinstalling the software, experimenting with different module versions, and testing various configurations for several days, but I can't determine whether the issue is related to the software or hardware.

I also have V18 installed, which works almost flawlessly for simulation. However, since my coursework requires me to use V15, I’m stuck trying to resolve the problem with this version. I'm not sure why V18 runs fine but V15 has this issue.

Has anyone experienced something similar, or does anyone have suggestions for troubleshooting this problem?
