Are you receiving a warning or an error?  Warnings will happen for V17 no matter what you do.
I have trained my co-workers to ignore the warnings.

I am having the same issue

I have configured the CPU 6ES7 512-1SK01-0AB0 Firmware Version 2.9 in TIA V17

And the actual CPU 6ES7 512-1SM03-0AB0 Firmware Version 3.0

When i try to download i am getting an error incompatible device found

how to use the "spare part compatible" to download?

try to download first time directly to Memory Card, then put MC into PLC and start. 

Download project data into the S7-1200/S7-1500 CPU without TIA Portal
