PAC3120 - reading active energy history with TIA Portal

I want to read PAC3120 active energy history with TIA Portal (e.g. S7-1200 with CB1241). In PAC3120 these values start at register address 32001. However, there is a note in a manual (PAC3120 and PAC3220 Equipment Manual, 07/2024, page 148) that Modbus queries for "Work portion Tariff 1" or "Work portion Tariff 2" must always be performed as a whole in a package (TS, Work portion T1, Work portion T2) with the start address at TS (e.g. 32003, 32009, 32015). Moreover, I have found in documentation for S7-1200 (Overview of Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP communication) and for S7-1500 (SIMATIC S7-1500 / ET 200MP / ET 200SP – CM PtP - Configurations for point-to-point connections, s71500_cm_ptp_function_manual_en-US_en-US.pdf, page 61) that only the basic function codes (01-06, 15 and 16) are supported, but not the function code 20 (0x14) Read File Record, which is required (by PAC manual) to read those values. Should I read these registers with function codes 3 and 4? |
