THOMPSONvk Experienced Member Joined: 1/22/2018 Last visit: 5/27/2025 Posts: 31 Rating: (0)	Hello, Does anyone knows if there is a basic instruction in TIA PORTAL v15.1 for controling turning ON motor for certain time and then turning OFF motor for certain time, and that function should repet in cycle (WORK-PAUSE-WORK-PAUSE...)? WORK and PAUSE time should be choosen with DataBlock variables. I couldnt find on forum something similar to this. I have Siemens S7 1215C plc. It can be done with combination of timers, but maybe SIEMENS already have function for that type of control. BR THOMPSONvk

Those are STAT area bools, used as status memory of the edge function.
