Are you using an HMI to assign the speed setpoint, interval, hold on time, and # of repeats?

I'm currently recommisioning a machine that we have here, i have replaced the old dead controller with an s7-1200, this sends a 0-10v signal out to a vfd to set the speed, i'd like to then have a program that sends the run signal for 20 seconds, then stops for 2 mins, then repeat x number of times, once it has been repeated x number of times i  need to change the intervals and then repeat x number of times etc.

I've looked at a couple of tutorials for the on/off timers but cannot get it to work correctly, i wondered if anyone would be able to point me in the right direction please?

In that case, I fail to see the problem?  What logic have you written so far?  Or are you first needing to attend a TIA Portal intro course?

To add a bit of context, this machine is for wearing in rotating assemblies.
So i will be using an HMI, but the user will simply press " start" and the program will need to run through the different iterations of cycle times/ speeds until it is complete.

lose algorithm is:

user presses start.

set drive speed to 1500

on for 20 seconds

pause 2 mins

repeat x10

set drive speed to 1750

on for 30 seconds 

pause for 1 min

repeat x8

etc. etc.

This should give you some inspiration. Implementation is pathetic but it's the best example found quickly on the Internet.

A hint: handle each output in separate network, not in networks handling state transitions.
