Error codes 16#2942 and 16#2943 point to I/O access issues, often caused by communication problems. These may result from incorrect addressing, faulty hardware, or configuration mismatches.

Check Hardware Connections:
Inspect all physical connections between the CPU and I/O modules. Ensure each module is firmly seated and all cables are secure and undamaged.

Validate Module Configuration:
Confirm that the configured module addresses match the physical hardware setup. Cross-check the settings in STEP 7 or TIA Portal to avoid mismatches.

Inspect Faulty Modules:
Modules with addresses like 2340, 290, and 206 in the diagnostic buffer may be faulty. Check them for damage and, if needed, replace them with known good modules for testing.
