This is a follow up question regarding on my recent post onProcess Historian : Error building plant hierarchy. We've been on this error for almost 2 months.

I’m encountering two issues with theSIMATIC Process Historianin our PCS 7 V9.0 SP3 system and would appreciate any insights or solutions from those who have faced similar problems.

When accessing the Plant Structure Dashboard in the Information Server, I receive the error "PlantStructureDashboard: error building plant hierarchy". This suggests an issue with constructing the plant hierarchy, even though the project folder name is consistent between the Engineering System and the Process Historian.

The other problem is I cant generate report manually although the report is working automatically everytime. But if I will try to manual export a reports its says something like "error in retrieving..."

Could this behavior be related to the issue we’re experiencing with the historian? We’ve noticed that a duplicate project appears automatically — even though the second project contains no data or server content. After we delete the empty project, it reappears again after a few hours.

If this is one of the possible causes of the issue, what are the recommended configuration steps or solutions to permanently prevent the duplicate project from returning?

Have anybody in the forum have faced these issues ? Please advise how this issue can be resolved.
