I have a one redundant OS pair V9.1 SP2 UC07 system which has a configuration oddity. The redundant OS WinCC Application and its associated WinCC Application (StBy) appear to be configured correctly both within Simatic Manager, and NetPro. That being said, upon review of the OS server data on the primary OS server project, I noticed it's missing the "Redundant" computer name of the standby OS server.

I have so far attempted to delete the server data on the OS server, and re-generate the server data. This yielded the same result. Something appears to be preventing the server data from showing both servers. The servers themselves otherwise appear to work fine, synch and operate as expected, with the exception of SSM sharing (trend configuration sharing isn't working, I presume due to this server data issue).

Thank you for the reply. You are correct, and I was misinterpreting what I should be seeing. In my case the OS server configuration shows only the one server, as expected, and the OS clients show both servers, as expected.

I checked my OS clients configuration, and under Configure Standard Server, and only the Alarms and SSM fields are set to the symbolic computer name, as expected. That being said, I am still unable to share configured trends within the system. I can only see a created trend on that respective OS clients, as its not being shared.

Good news, finally got this sorted. Part of this was a misunderstanding that trends can only be shared between OS clients, which have their own shared trend pool. A trend created on an OS server pair will only be shared within that pair, and the same applies to OS clients. Therefore, no sharing between servers and clients.

It was Siemens support that finally explained these specifics, as I couldn't find this information in any manual.
