With a delta download, only the modifications are loaded. This speeds up the compilation and loading process, allowing you to test your changes more quickly. However, the runtime does not stop during this process. Therefore, you will need to reload the changed screen. This can be done by refreshing the browser for PC Runtime or Web Client access. For a Unified Panel, though, you would need to change screens.

You cannot configure the TIA Portal to perform a full download automatically, but you can initiate one manually. To do so, select Download to device > Software (all) from the context menu of the HMI device in the project tree.
