I have MP277 and i set smartservice to it. I easly connect in local network. I use IE and by HMI's ip address (192.168.1.130:5800) i can connect. The problem is how to do this when i am in remote network. I tried forwarding 5800 port on router with static ip. to HMI address then tried to connect with http://(server.address):5800 but it doesnt work. Could you send me any manual how it should be set for WAN? Is there the same idea to connect remotely with s7-1200? Did anyone tried with VPN (like hamachi software)? best regards.

If i want connect to smart servie do i have to connect with ethenret ip adress of computer that runtime is in run?
