Problem with COM1 port

Can I use USB-RS232 converter cable (COM 2 port is activate in this case) and than cable RS232 (6XV1440...) in serial for transfer program in panel OP7-DP? If it is possible, with transfer speed I can use? Best regards.

I am trying to load a new program in the OP7. Some one has got to have some insight to why this is happening! Am I suppose to us a cross-over cable or is a pass-through correct. J'aime Henri

J'aime Henri Neither one nor the other one! The OP7 has a special cable connection. You can not use a standard serial cable.

From the information that I have gathered from you guys, it looks like i will have to buy another cable from siemens to connect to the OP7. I have attached the program that I am working with.
