For example script connected tobutton. Second question i have is - how far fromPLC can bebasic panel placed? what is the maximal cable length and what it depends on? Thanks in advance. Best greets, Radek Hi, in the FAQ http://support.automation.siemens.com/BR/view/en/40227286there a list of HMI features. Take in account that there powerfull HMI's that could be used with S7-1200 (despite that should be configured with WinCC flexible). If you use industrial Ethernet cable, and same earth, you can use up to 100m of cable. However you can use switches / optical fiber if you need more distances.
