OP7 Non Functional Keyboard

Marino Regular Member Joined: 1/11/2007 Last visit: 11/19/2024 Posts: 8 Rating: (1)	Hello, I have OP7 panel with partially functional keyboard: button rows 123, 456 and Enter button are not functional, other buttons work fine. It is obvious that device was operated in dirty enviroment and perhaps there is debris under button foil which prevents contact between conductor lines. I have already opened the device, however there is no access to the affected buttons from behind. Is it possible to remove frontal foil in order to access those dirty buttons or there is some other way? Panel works fine (with above exception) and customer is not willing to replace it with the new one

The old one, either follow Sandman' advice either open and repair buttons by yourself. This is possible. Best regards, Hristo Mihalev
