When I have a set point of 180 degree Celsius and an actual of about 30 degrees Celsius the PID will work, but when I switch it off and the temperature will drop but when I want to switch it on again Where the set pointis 180 degrees Celsius and the actual is about 150 degrees Celsius the PID does not work.

Hello , Please check mode of operation of PID controller.If it is in manual mode, change it to automatic mode.Also check: How do you restart a PID controller that has been stopped because of a scan time error or switch off the scan time monitoring? How can you prevent the PID Compact controller of the S7-1200 from switching off when the controller is switched off and on again and in the case of invalid process values?
