Hi,
Yesterday our machine had a problem,when we attend to the machinewe found theCP524 card (6ES5 524-3UA13) flashing a fault LED (IF1). We tried to switch off and on the card, the fault LED still flashing, then we did overall reset at PLC still unable to clear the fault. We decided to change with a spare but the spare card also flashing its fault LED, then we doubt that the problem whether come from the card or thePLC rack, so we decided to try to swap with a working card from other machine. Both cards also showing the same fault at the other machine, after we put back both cards back to the original machine, bothmachines continue having the same fault and unable to recover. We were thinking of theoriginalPLC rack may having some problem which burnt both cards. Then wetried to changed out the whole set of PLC including the Rack & the CP524. After change the rack, we still seeing the same fault and unable to clear it.

1. Would like to know what does it means of the IF1. We ound that the LED was continue flasing twice & off back each time it blingking.

2. How to recover it?

3. Who have the 6ES5524-3UA13 manual.

Look at Manual for S5-CP525 / CP524 / COM525 . Read it and also will look inside and if find some decision I'll write here. (There in this pdf is impossible to use search - this pdf is prepared by scan of original manual)
