If there is, how many feet long? When a maximum of 2 meters, if it can be connected again to 10 meters or even more? I just want the CPU 1200 on the cabinet, and ekspand module (DI, DQ, AI, AQ) separate from the cabinet, due to the small size of the cabinet.thank's

With the latest firmware you can use a second s7-1200 as remote I/O using the I-device configuration. With v11 and above you can use the IM151 and ET200 if I recall correctly as remote or distributed I/O Or in the same cabinet you can extend your local I/O using a 2m cable to add more modules. Hope this is useful.

Be it from the hardware to the console (input) or from the console to the hardware (the output). I put the PLC CPU in the console, but I want to keep expand DI, DQ, AI, AQ near the system, so that the cord is not too long.

Use main PLC to write code & other PLC as remote I/O & only having program for data exchange (I/O) on profinet.

I'm insert view image of device. Hello, If you would like to use S7-1200 modules 10 meters away from the CPU, Siemens doesn't have extenstion cable to link last module in CPU rack with ext. station. You can make this cable and buy sockets on your own. And without gurantee from Siemens that it will work coz we do not know how much the max length should be. The other granteed and practical solution is to use a profibus module and ext. modules like the link provided in my prev. post
