techovrlrd Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	Help! I can not get my PLC to run. I inherited a project and I am having problems. The errors are cpu installed is different from configuration, and I can not get the plc into run mode to start testing things. Any and all help here would be great.

techovrlrd Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	I have more specific info. I got the PC and PLC talking, and got the program compiled and tried to download to the PLC. Here is what I got. The existing online module “V2.2” is not compatible with the module configured offline “V3.0”. Loading to the target system is not possible. It appears that the program, no I did not write this one, has been configured for 3.0, but my cpu is a 2.2 version only. How do I fix this?

So please check it. In the HW configuration you can select version the V2.0, 2.2, v3.0 v3.2 etc so in the HW configuration select the version which u want. hope this will solve your problem..... Step 1: go to HW configuration window Step 2: right click on the CPU , select change device step3: one pop up open ,select the availabe plc which u have then in the same window after u select the CPU left side of the pop up u will get all specification step4: in that left side u can select the Version V2.2 then give ok Regards, D.Suresh

techovrlrd Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	Yes Sir, I did all that.if What I found was a cpu faulty error that kept coming up, so I am changing out the CPU tomorrow and see if this solves the problem. It would make sense as I kept selecting the correct cpu from the menu, installing, compiling, etc, and it would fault with the wrong processor type after every save and re-load.

Hope that there is your software version is missing or firmware missing check the embl number of CPU and in your PC hardware PLC configuration both are same.

I have the version problem resolved, but the cpu gives a "cpu faulty" error and will not laod or do much more. I have another cpu here and I powreed it, did a ver 2.2 firmware load off of the sd card, reset the power and I can not communicate. The error I get is "The connection partner is not responding" The software sees there is a device but the hardware is not responding. Anyone know how to fix or resolve this issue? Thanx, Lance

Thanx, Lance please send us the order number of cpu and it's version and attach your project or some capture in online mode from what you configured.in this way your problem will solve soon

techovrlrd Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	Sir, I found the problem and got things reloaded, repaired and running. I have a second cpu that is giving me an error after updating the firmware to 2.2. This is an older 1200 model so thats all it can take. The error is "connection to address 192... failed, connection could not be established.connection partner not responding" Have you ever seen that one? If so, what is the resolution?
