I have CF card of CU320-2 DP G130 V4.6 HF16 and it lost data because of matainance member take it out from CU when the inverter is running. How can I fix this, plz help. I have parameter backup from starter before.

Hi, assuming the card has not been frazzled or corrupted, You can try loading the data (Note: this is only the parameter data) back on to the card.

Under no circumstances format the card!

As a last resort, technically, a quick format could be done, but if You don't know what that means, don't go anywhere near the format function.

See attached, in starter, with the CF card plugged into a card reader (create a backup first just in case)

Right-click on the G130 device as shown and navigate to "Load to file system".

Find Your CF card and select the root folder

It may be that You have to re-install the firmware in case that got corrupted - but this would need to be done before the parameter download.

Thank for your support, I have try to load parameter back to the CF card, but it dont work (see the attachment) The RDY and COM is blinking in red. I dont know if the maintainance member has formatted the card, what happen?

Hi, assuming You have a card reader, plugging it into a windows environment should yield a folder structure as per the attached.

If Yes, then it's still possible that it's been corrupted.

If not, then You need to ascertain how Your colleague has formatted the card, as it is possible to damage Siemens cards by formatting.

Clearly, it's worth attempting regardless unless You have a new card

See the link below, unfortunately, V4.6 is no longer downloadable, however, V4.7 is. This does however, mean that if used, a PLC may not be able to communicate any longer until the new version is loaded into the hardware configuration for example.

You can download the V4.7 HF35 FIRMWARE here, and simply copy it onto the card.

You will then need to load the user data (as per my previous post) on top of the firmware.

Thank for your support. It is very helpful for me. My drive is standalone (no comunication) so I think V4.7 is fine. Let me ask 1 more question. What about the license of the CF. Is it corrupted with the data?

If the license lost, how can I have it again?
