Double to integer PAC2200 to LOGO

Vrati Posts: 22 Rating: (0)	Good evening experts, have you got some experience with PAC2200 and LOGO8 FS4 communication? Is there possible to deal Double data format from PAC2200 through LOGO8 to HMI. Does LOGO know to process this one or only Float format? Thanks Vratislav

ixo65 Grandmaster Joined: 12/18/2014 Last visit: 1/16/2026 Posts: 36460 Rating: (4550)	LOGO! knows only 16 bit integer. Only for the 2 blocks "F/I" and "I/F" can the LOGO! convert 32 bit floats or 64 bit floats for special functions (eAx / eAq).

Vrati Posts: 22 Rating: (0)	Yes, I see on block F/I 122442 that is my active energy import, but on analog function asi is treshold trigger or watch dog I do see 32767. Then on HMI I do not have correct info.

The block converts internally from float to integer, but if the result is greater than 32,767, then 32,767 is output at the Aq. But if you only want to see the value on the HMI, then you only need to transfer the 32-bit value from Modbus to the VM memory and then display the value in the HMI as a float. So: Transfer double Modbus register (e.g. HR1 and HR2) to e.g. VW0 with 2 words. Then create a variable as a float in the HMI with the address VD0.

Vrati Posts: 22 Rating: (0)	It gives a sense, I did not know that. The problem I have got I am unable to configure this in VM mapping. I have start adress in Modbus connection table 30, the number from PAC2200 table as 802, 2 words and then I am finished. I see the value on F/I block, HMI as DWord with adress 30 as well but no value on HMI. Pretty sure I do something wrong.
