wincc dcom failure?

Nerli Posts: 21 Rating: (1)	Hi. the issue is on the just installed server. two IL43 with raid1. the way of installation of all soft was similar. the namings were also cheked. but actually master server loads in 1 minute and the stby srvr about 10. we checked the services, processes, soft. the eventviewer shows the follow: The server {47838A86-41EA-11D0-B59B-0020AFBE27D7} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout. as i see it is a redundancy. i tried to switch it (redundancy in the project) off, no sense. the WinCC freeze on the words "The project opened" and after 10 minutes load whole project for 10 secs. Nerli Posts: 21 Rating: (1)	i read it before new post, as usual. but actually can't solve with it. i foundin eventviewer follow Error: 15457, Severity: 0, State: 1 Configuration option 'show advanced options' changed from 0 to 1. Run the RECONFIGURE statement to install. what reconfigure it meaned? so, my config is: w2k_server sp4 WinCC 6.0 hotfix 2.0 servicepack 2.0 enableDCOM in regedit is Y.

danielle, I attached zip file with diagnose folder in the first post.

I make comparison with the logs of the mastersrvr and found differences.

also i checked DCOMCNFG with

tried to switch off hyperthread in BIOS.
no success.
actually we use NAV 8.0, but siemens guys told that it acceptable. and for fun - the same configuration works on the mastersrvr

We install WinCC RT SW on one IL and then copied to the another IL. On the other (second one) PC the problem with DCOM timoute (registry key shows that this is WinCC Redundancy application which triggers this error). The result is 4minutes delay on WinCC Explorer start up. After this delay is timeout everything works without a problem (Explorer + RT). Since the SW is identical and HW too, I don't have a clue what to to solve the problem. The other IL is for backup (for the case that active server failes because of HW) and it is not connected at the same time - so it is identical copy of first server.
