Hello Thomas, Respectfully: You have not progressed further from December. You still have a problem with sequencing. Mastering sequencing will make the use of timers more easy. Please evaluate the example in the attachment. The idea is that you duplicate the example in a program just like it is printed in the PDF. Coding each element manually will be a learning experience in itself. The function of the example is to dip a basket into a bath for a few times. Read the documentation that are listed with the tags and the code. The example is functional but it is not complete or optimal. Note a few technical things about the example: 1. The code is written in a Function Block (subroutine). 2. The parameters of the Function Block is populated with tags: inputs / outputs / static. You need to replicate these as they are. 3. Note that one input tag carries an INT value. A default value of 10 has been assigned to it. Focus on the technique: 1. The sequence is controlled by a number. Regularly the number is compared with a constant which is used as a trigger. 2. When you drag-drop a TON instruction from the code toolbox, the software asks where to assign the timer's memory. A multi instance is used in the example. The memory that the timer uses is assigned to the static memory of the Function Block. Realize that volunteers are reluctant to spend as much time as I have to make this example for you. Reason: Topic Starters tend to want answers fed to them with a spoon. They may return repeatedly expecting answers again without building the skill to help themselves. Please make an effort to understand what I am trying to teach you with the example. The lessons goes beyond what you are asking, yet it does not speak to your question directly. Insightful questions are welcome. Sincere regard.
