Variable to select output directy from move command (communication with G120)

F.M.H. Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	So I am making my own Motor control FB. Is there a way to have an input (variable, integer) on the FB that is just a number, aka 256, as adress, and inside the block put that as both input and output adress via move command in ladder directly, rather than having both input and output variable on the block and having to write for example both %IW256 and %QW256 on them? I know you can in STL with PEAK command but trying to make it simpler for other people that dont know that to understand. I am talking about for example writing %QW:[Adress Vaariable] at the output of a move connad for example, just that one doesnt work ofc.

Inside blocks, as a general rule, there should only be local tags so they can be made more abstract and reusable. PEEK_WORD and POKE_WORD are what you need for shared use blocks for s7-1x00 PLCs.
