Need help with ET 200SP

Kaltunas Posts: 10 Rating: (4)	Configuration: S7-1200 (6ES7 214-1AG31-0XB0) ET 200SP (6ES7155-6AA00-0BN0) (Connected to the controller via profinet) 2 x DI 16x24VDC ST Digital input modules (6ES7131-6BH00-0BA0) When I add one of the modules everything is working fine, but after adding two or more, the following errors occur: Fault: Hardware component removed or missing - \|> HW_ID= 271 CPU error: New I/O access error during process image update /n input 2 (2 Bytes) will temporarily not be updated as part of the updating of PIP 0 \|> \|> HW_ID= 279 - Object management system CPU error: New I/O access error during process image update /n input 4 (2 Bytes) will temporarily not be updated as part of the updating of PIP 0 \|> \|> HW_ID= 280 - Object management system Fault: Hardware component not available due to a parameter assignment error - \|> HW_ID= 280 Modules aren't faulty, tried to replace one of them to digital output module, but the outcome is the same.

Kaltunas Posts: 10 Rating: (4)	I found out that there are two kind of base units (the light one and the darker one). When I set the configuration on tia portal, the second input module by default was set as the darker one, while both of the base units were light kind... Quite a stupid mistake.

Pittiplatsch Posts: 1368 Rating: (128)	Hello imorales2, at ET200SP,There are different BaseUnit versions: BaseUnits (with light terminal box) for opening a potential group: BU..D BaseUnits (with dark terminal box) for conducting the potential group: BU..B In the TIAconfiguration of ET200SP, you have to choose the usedbaseunit and the information, if the baseunit opens a new potential group or not. Is it clear now?
