I have a WinCC 7.5 project that creates an extra directory.

The path to the project file is:

C:\vdClientArchive\KALEB5_Rewind\Software\KALEB5SRV01\Eb5srv01\wincproj\KALEB5SRV01

but at some point I also get a new directory with the same name as the full project (and the server it is running on):

C:\vdClientArchive\KALEB5_Rewind\Software\KALEB5SRV01\Eb5srv01\wincproj\KALEB5SRV01\KALEB5SRV01

Why is this happening and should I do something (what?) about it or just accept it?

The additional directory ..\wincproj\KALEB5SRV01\KALEB5SRV01will be created because the computer name in your wincc project is KALEB5SRV01. This addition directory is ok.

Remember: Please start the project on your ES only in the simulation.

So - it is created because I have used runtime on the ES?

Does this mean that I can delete this directory (both on the ES and the WinCC server) without any bad consequences?
