I have KTP400 basic. It is a little bit used, but work fine.

The question is about sound. In the settings sound is active, but really sound not coming out. Even if some project is downloaded into the panel

Is KTP400  with sound onboard, or that model have no sound from factory?

pls take to account that there are exists many versions, you didn't post your version (order number). In this case you can everytime type your Panel to up right Search in Online Support input box and read details about your product, like this: Simatic KTP400 Basic panel Description

Look to section - Type of Output. My HMI type is as example because you didn't post your order number as I mentioned.

From documentation of that panel:

Speaker: No

Buzzer: Yes

ok and what kind of sound you expect to have with this Panel in case only Buzzer is available?  Maybe you can check about volume settings on Panel cfg screens.

:) But buzzer is activated by sound settings at the panel? Right? Buzzer should work if any icon of panel is pressed, but buzzer don't work :) I just want to understand - is it some deffect.

did you check manual? I mean manual not my link to description of device. Manual can have 100 pages about cfg, parameters and other options. Try find it and check what settings need to be set to have buzzer ON, also if some clicks are set.
