i have a sinumerik 840d sl. in which the information of the CF CARD was deleted.
A new one was purchased and the OEM application does not start.
They tell me that it is necessary to load the NC and PLC.arc backups on that card.

normally you can recover your license from siemens and don't need to more !

Therefore you refer to siemenes site according to attached doc.

In any way you persist to use new , you must prepare some conditions :

1) all archives from PLC , NC , DRIVES  needed . It's important section .

2) Insert new PCMCIA and do General Resetr .

3) In this step your system initialized on default mode .

4) upload your Archives  1)NCK  2) PLC  , 3) DRIVES

5) At this step your machine must be work same as ago , but trial license message appears .

6) you must entered new license that purchased accompanied PCMCIA
