First of all, i wish everybody healthy.

Recently, I got one project using WinCC.
(Software was installed by 'Wincc Expert' and version is V7.5 SP2 Up2)

While working on the project, customer request OPC (DA) server function in WinCC

So, I try to set OPC server, but i can't see any tag from 'OPC Item Manager'.

When i creat new empty project, i can see all internal tag (for only test) from 'OPC Item Manager'.

Finally, i doubt this real project not working for OPC server.

Could you give me your advice?

This WinCC project file is created by my colleague.

He didn't realize this project is not working for OPC.

And I also test 'OPC read protection' in the option. 

It does not give any effect on my problem.

Check with a external OPC Client for example OPC -Scout if you can access the tags

Do you create the test project on the same computer ?

For OPC-DA you must make the DCOM settings

1. Pleas check the DCOM settings on bot computers if the opc server and client are on different computer.

Why can you no longer connect the WinCC OPC DA Client to third-party servers after upgrading to WinCC V7.3?
