Hello Experts,

I am trying to control S120 drive with CU310 via Di/DO & set point reference voltage is +/-10 Volt analog.

I have configured CU310 on board DI as ON, OFF & Jog commands. My question is how to connect analog reference to drive object?

In CU310, r0755 is available as setpoint (in percentage) scaled output . In DO, main setpoint input parameter is p1070, but in starter DO I don't find p1070, then where should I connect setpoint reference?

Please help me to clear my below understanding.

1. In SInamics CU - All motor module data is stored in CU  unit. Control signals, either via field bus or Digital Inputs are applied to CU. All control actions are worked out  in CU & then only firing pulses are sent to motor module via Drive CLiQ. Same about DO i.e. as per parameter setting, DO on CU are operated.

2. Encoder which is connected to MoMo, signals are transferred to CU, which further on evaluation are transferred to controller depending on telegram set.

3. This same applies for the MoMos connected to CU.

Is my this understanding correct?

Yes you are right. The CU calculates everything for the all S120 axes. 

The control behavior of each axis is calculated on CU (speed control, current control), the encoder evaluation, DCC charts, ... just everything ;)
