I have this module ( 6ES7153-2BA02-0XB0 ) that I was given but I do not know at all what it is for, I know how to place it in tia and add inputs and outputs to it I would have liked to know what that is for could serve well.

this is a decentral infercae modul for i/o cards

you can connect the IM with PROFIBUS to a PLC which then can use and control the i/O card placed after the IM in the decentral station
