I am trying to tcp communicate an XS26-2DE banner with a V8.3 logo but I have not achieved anything yet. I have already asked the banner staff but they have no answer. Banner equipment manual annex. ixo65 Grandmaster Joined: 12/18/2014 Last visit: 1/19/2026 Posts: 36484 Rating: (4552)	The LOGO! can't work together with the Banner device. The LOGO! has not Libraries as TIA and can't Profinet-I/O. The LOGO! can only Ethernet TCP/IP with the S7 protocol or (LOGO!8.FS4 or higher) Modbus TCP/IP.

Scorp Platinum Member Joined: 2/22/2008 Last visit: 4/25/2025 Posts: 2698 Rating: (210)	There is one way to use a plc S7-1200 or ET200SP, they have a Profinet connection and can also communicate with a Logo. If you already have a Logo with extension modules, then you can add a small S7-1200 CPU without extension modules as protocol converter, but you need additional TIA software. If you want to use safety functions of the XS26-2DE, then you can not use a Logo. For this you at least need a S7-1200 CPU-F with Profisafe connection. The Logo is only usable for signaling without safety functions. Regards, Scorp
