Hello,

I have a CPU 6ES7314-1AG13-0AB0 with a memory card and i want to buy a spare one in case of damage. What I recently learned is that this CPU has stopped and the successor is 6ES7314-1AG14-0AB0.

What I couldn't learn is if the new one is compatible with the old one in case of replacement. Is there any chance of direct replacement? If not what should I do?

You can replace the CPU without execute any change in the HW configuration.

The Procedures:

1-Turn off the Power.

2-Remove the old CPU 6ES7314-1AG13-0AB0

3-Install the new CPU   6ES7314-1AG14-0AB0

4-Insert MMC in the new CPU

5-Turn on the Power.

6-Execute the Memory reset.

The machine will be run without any problem.
