Good day Ma'am/Sir, 

I have this project which is an upgrade of HMI OP277 to KP700 with some challenges like, not having the HMI backup program but only the backup ladder program in SIMATIC S7. Also, the program is downloaded to the HMI meaning, what only appears on the program are just the IO addresses without any details or description. 

Now, I have created variable tables (Modify/Force). I was able to modify/force DI/DOs but couldn't on peripheral IOs. I've also read that peripheral Inputs cannot be modified but can be forced and peripheral outputs can be modified, but I couldn't do for both what shows on the HMI are just hash (####). Is there anything that I am missing? I've also attached the image below of the variable tables.

Note: The hardware that are with me are the power supply, CPU (S7-300 CPU315-2 PN/DP) without the IO modules, and the HMI OP277

Thanks for the response. Is there any other way for me to be able to force or input values for these peripheral IOs? Because I need to identify which peripheral IO will be triggered and from that I could create the HMI tags for my new HMI.
