How to configure a print for a settable date and time from screen?

Btw. I'm on V15.1 and there's still no direct vbs-action to do this. Hi HEITA_Schmidt, i have created a report and linked to data log and print job. but my client want to print it on specific date and time which is settable from HMI. Can you say me how to configure a print for a settable date and time from screen ??? is any direct function is there or can you show me a example ?. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from WinCC Professional V13 SP1 – Simple Sample: Print a report by button.

Murof Platinum Expert Joined: 8/3/2009 Last visit: 1/20/2026 Posts: 16653 Rating: (1944)	Hello kannanctx the scheduled tasks you cannot use because the Triggers have to be fixed. you can use a simple global script which you can trigger every minute for example. Then you check if the Time you have set in internal Tags has exeeded and then you run your printjob. Of course you can also use a Timer in the PLC but this is a little bit to far away from the PLC tasks. Bye Murof

Yogendra_Tiwari Experienced Member Joined: 11/27/2018 Last visit: 1/20/2026 Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	To print at particular date and time set by HMI/SCADA , you have to make a comparison between your current time and time set by HMI/SCADA when both becomes equal make a bit high with it now use that bit to print your file.
