Hi All,

I have some VB script at the moment that opens the CSV file created by the Wincc Import/Export tool and searches for specific tags I need information from. For example all the".Value" tags.

I would now like to skip the step of actaully exporting the tag namesfirst and rather search for the tags within Wincc but I am not sure how to go about this :(

So very simply, lets say I want to capture all the tag valueswith the suffix ".Value" from Wincc, without having to first export all the tags, then having to use that file to search for all the ".Value" tags.

I hope I have explained correctly.

Hello Shaun,

Is the following mechanism suitable for you?

1. List /filter out those tags whose name tailed with ".Value".

+

2. Provide you the values belonging to above-written tags.

(P.S.: 1 & 2 will be done in a VB-Script subroutine at once.)

If it's okay for you, I will try to write a example.

(1) Copy the code into dynamics.

(2) Test it and see if it works for you!
